Ruth is an accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), with a background in Psychology and Psychotherapy. She offers a warm, reflective, and grounded space where you can explore emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be shaping your present-day life.
Ruth holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an MA in Psychotherapy. She draws from these approaches to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

Areas of Interest
Ruth works with adults who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that are difficult to understand or change. Some come with a clear difficulty, while others simply feel that something in their life or relationships no longer feels manageable or meaningful. Her approach focuses on developing a deeper understanding of the self, particularly how early experiences and relationships can continue to influence emotional life in the present.
She has a particular interest in relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, childhood experiences, complex trauma, grief and bereavement, chronic health conditions, and issues relating to identity and self-worth. She also works with those who are navigating intimacy, dating, relational uncertainty, and major life transitions.
