Pearl Brock

Pearl Brock – Senior Lecturer, Clinical Director & Consultant Psychotherapist
Pearl Brock is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead at IICP, Clinical Director of Think Well Psychotherapy Clinic, and a consultant clinical psychotherapist with extensive experience in both academic and clinical settings. Her work spans education, clinical practice, and forensic psychotherapy, with a strong focus on ethical and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Pearl has worked extensively in forensic settings, sexual assault crisis intervention, and complex trauma, including her involvement with the Rape Crisis Centre and the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU). She has also served as an expert witness for the courts, providing psychological assessments and professional testimony in sensitive cases. Additionally, she has significant experience working with violent and sexual offenders, victims of abuse, and individuals navigating complex trauma and PTSD.
With a deep commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, Pearl works extensively with the LGBTQ+ community, trans youth, and individuals exploring gender identity. Her practice is rooted in a Jungian approach, integrating depth psychology, storytelling, and symbolism as therapeutic tools. She is currently completing a PhD on the use of fairy tales in psychotherapy, exploring how narrative can facilitate shadow work and individuation.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Pearl is actively involved in professional development and governance, having applied to join the IACP Board of Management to contribute to the ongoing advancement of counselling and psychotherapy in Ireland. She is also a dedicated supervisor and mentor, supporting trainee psychotherapists as they develop their skills and ethical awareness.

Ruth Raleigh

Ruth is a highly experienced integrative psychotherapist and the Vice President of the Irish Association for Psychotherapy and Psychology (IAPP). With a deep commitment to advancing the field of psychotherapy, she brings both leadership and clinical expertise to her work. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Health Psychology, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an MA in Psychotherapy. This extensive academic background provides her with a comprehensive understanding of human psychology, therapeutic techniques, and ethical practice. As a therapist, Ruth believes in the power of connection, self-awareness, and emotional processing as essential tools for personal growth. Fiona Alexander is a highly experienced psychotherapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through trauma, grief, and emotional distress. Her journey into psychotherapy began in nursing, where she worked extensively with individuals managing chronic health conditions, witnessing firsthand the emotional and psychological impact of long-term illness. Recognising the need for deeper emotional support, she pursued advanced training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, developing a holistic, compassionate approach to healing.

Paddy Gately
