Hannah McCann is a fully qualified and accredited Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, with training grounded in Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis. She works from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective, offering a thoughtful, compassionate approach to clients of all ages.

With a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults, Hannah brings a creative and age-sensitive approach to her practice. Her background in fine art deeply informs her therapeutic work, and she frequently incorporates therapeutic art techniques, especially in her work with younger clients, to promote expression and healing in accessible, meaningful ways.
Hannah has broad clinical experience and works with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues, including addiction, gender dysphoria, postnatal depression, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, familial & relationship difficulties, depression and anxiety. Her therapeutic practice is enriched by a diverse professional background in social care, palliative care, substance misuse services, therapeutic support for children in disadvantaged communities, art therapy with elderly clients in residential care, psychiatric services, and community-based mental health programs.
