Fiona Alexander

Senior Psychotherapist

Fiona Alexander is a highly experienced psychotherapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through trauma, grief, and emotional distress. Her journey into psychotherapy began in nursing, where she worked extensively with individuals managing chronic health conditions, witnessing firsthand the emotional and psychological impact of long-term illness. Recognising the need for deeper emotional support, she pursued advanced training in Counselling and Psychotherapy, developing a holistic, compassionate approach to healing.

Her work is grounded in empathy, attunement, and non-judgement, allowing clients to explore their experiences at their own pace. She believes that healing is a process of reconnection, helping clients regain a sense of safety, trust, and self-compassion. By incorporating psychodynamic exploration, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, Fiona supports clients in understanding the impact of past experiences while developing new ways of coping and engaging with the world.

Fiona brings depth, warmth, and a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma to her work. She is dedicated to supporting clients as they move through pain toward greater resilience, self-awareness, and emotional freedom.
